A large financial client with over 50,000 employees worldwide, were switching over to a new VoIP phone system and needed to deploy this system across its Asia Pacific business Operations.
The deployment involved offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Vietnam & Malaysia, covering nearly 3000 users.
MultiTek Global were required to work closely with the Telco provider to ensure correct installation of the system and provide independent UAT testing support including end-user testing.
After the installation of the VoIP network at each office site, MultiTek was required to test connections and work with Verizon on trouble shooting an connections that were not working.
On the Monday after the go-live date, MultiTek provided direct end-user facing assistance by proactively speaking to the end-users and in the event of any issues helping them to restart phones, problem logging and coordinating fixes with the main command centre.
The biggest challenge for the client was to ensure that there were technical support staff in each location simultaneously before the common go-live date. MultiTek was able to provide engineers on the ground at each location to support the rollout testing and validation.
